MUSEØ DE GOLF
Golf Through an Aesthetic Lens
In an age of excess, Museo de Golf stands as a testament to thoughtful preservation. We curate not merely vintage pieces, but objects that carry the enduring legacy of golf — each an objet d’art, telling its own story of craftsmanship, patina, and time.
The collection is a living archive of rare objects — garments no longer made, editions long out of print, and forms and finishes that have vanished from the modern marketplace. These objects speak to those who truly appreciate the sport, its history, and the art of golf.
Explore the current exhibition online or arrange a visit to our intimate gallery at Pluto of St Andrews — just steps from The Old Course, where golf’s story began.
SATOYAMA さとやま
A Space Shared by Nature and People: The Golf Course
At Museo de Golf, we honor not only the art and history of the sport but also the natural environment in which it thrives. Satoyama (さとやま) represents the intersection of human cultivation and wilderness in traditional Japanese landscapes. The term combines Sato (village/human settlement) and Yama (mountain/wild spaces), embodying the harmonious coexistence of managed and natural environments.
